Kirti Meghnani is the Head of Retail Procurement at Choithrams and has 38 years of total work experience.

Kirti Meghnani joined Choithrams in the year 1984 and his top responsibilities there include Business Development with suppliers – this involves agreements, rebates, displays, price management, etc. with local suppliers.

A bit different when it comes to import suppliers where NPD, logistics, etc. is more important. Category performance at stores – this involves the performance of different categories, merchandising, availability, stock levels and sales.  

Margins – making sure products are being purchased at the required costs, profits are being booked properly, RSP management where a balance is maintained between consumer demands and satisfaction and better margins, Back margins with local suppliers, other income avenues.

Promotions – As consumer trends change towards promo driven articles, it is made sure that the relevant promos are available. His most significant contribution over the years is bringing to the forefront the importance of “Other Income”. His vision for his current role is to make sure that he is successful in imparting knowledge and positive attitude to all who work with him.
